WI Parley January 28th Oshkosh, WI

Ok as for plans. I plan on driving. Will have minivan with room for 4 peeps and plenty of cargo room. I know Billy is planning on going. Leaves two openings in my van leaving from Duluth area. We talked about going through the cities to pick anyone from down there up if interested it would only add about 45 minutes to trip. So this would be open to them also.

Hotels I found down there at the motel 6 were at a rate of $56 dollars for double occupancy(two full size beds). Comes to $28 a head that was after taxes. As for gas I was figuring on roughly 5 tanks of gas one down one back at about $60 a tank or $120 total divided by 4 would be $30 a person. So cost to go with a full car(4) would be roughly $58 to stay the night. Comp Cost and any other food, smokes, beer, women would be extra...

I would really rather spend the night as for drive time and just plain old having a good time weekend.

we normaly run sportsman and 2.2 at the same time with the curnent layout of the course. But with the new attendees we plan to do some rearranging and have a new section to finish building to make it new for everyone. We are also a smaller club so we all take are turns score keeping and timing each course, so everyone brush up on the current rules and help out if they can.

Thanks,
Brian

Oh and anyone coming from MN if they want to follow me from Wausau just shoot me a pm.

First off, I'm Bill from the Wausau area, and am looking forward to meeting you guys out in Oshkosh.

I am planning on staying overnight whether you guys do or not, but I figured it would be a good chance to get to know you guys a little better and hang out. Not knowing exactly how long the comp will last especially with the start time at 2:00, there is a possibility of it lasting a LONG time.

Daaaaaang! Good thing dumb luck talked me into stumbling in here! I thought these things started at 3, I'da wound up pretty darn late.

Not trying to sway you guys one way the other, I'd just rather hang out after the comp and grab a few beers instead of heading home right away.

As early as you guys have to leave to get out here, yeah, trying to hightail it back could make for quite a day.

I might have been mistaken. I though it was starting at 2 but I am probably wrong.

We can do anytime we will have food at the event not sure what everyone has planned but yur all wekcome to crawl at the rock lounge .I am finishing up a 4x8 sheet on saturday and we will be adding more to the course at hto. i no longer have internet at home so i will respond back on my next available chance. If anyone has questions feel free to csll me at 920-284-5803.Chris

Did I miss the pictures of this indoor facility? I am interested but will NOT go with out seeing what I am going for. It's 286 miles each way for what?

You guys want to promote something? Let's see this place.

I might be interested in this too, but can't commit just yet. Can anyone confirm if this is the location?

Looks like photobucket has deleted some of the pics in the link above, but still a few there to check out.

Thanks Kevin, but those pictures are almost a year old. What about something NEW? Show me the whole place instead of a closeup on a single line? These courses could have the "grip" worn off by now?

Seriously, you want more people to show up? Show me some current pictures.

Jeez, it's only 550 miles round trip to show up and be disappointed if it is not that well kept.

This comp is set for SATURDAY the 28th? Starts at 2pm? Someone please spell it out for me?

Thanks.

The corse is getting a face lift this weekend there is more traction then needed as i look i really dont have any pics of the full course at HTO nut if you are dis appointed we can always crawl at the rock lounge which is 15 miles closer.

All I have for current pics are closeups as well. I will take some more pics of the whole course this weekend.

Well right on. Thanks for the videos, I'll look forward to current pics. "thumbsup"

I've been to a few indoor comps. They were fun for winter time crawling. This is closer then previous, so all sounds good so far. I would just really like to see the current version to make my final push for permission to go. I'm married now.

Didd some work on the course this week going back wednesday and patching a few spots as far as traction goes thats not a issue almost too much grip .
