WI Parley January 28th Oshkosh, WI

Looks like they rolled back the forums. I had posted that Adam is not coming now. Will be 3 from Duluth coming and 2 from the cities now. Looking forward to it.

So, who was looking into the hotels in the area? I also thought we were talking about having a little gathering after the event. Maybe grab some pizza and beer and hit the hotel to relax and BS the evening away?

So, we need to find a decent hotel that has a lounge area and take it over. If we go to a resturant there will be 20% tip added automatically with a group this size.

I think the MPLS bus is leaving at around 7am. This will allow us some time to get there early and maybe even check into the room.

I know Curt (red dog) was working on the hotels. I'll call him to confirm things. Having a hotel with a lounge would be nice. No worrying about driving after having cocktails!

Comfort Suites in Oshkosh has some 6 people rooms for 129 a night not sure if there is a lounge there or not.

The Motel 6 is dirt cheap and has two good places to grab a drink or some dinner within staggering distance.

Right next door is the "Tilted kilt"...think hooters, but with skimpy school girl outfits instead of hotpants. And a 45 second walk down the road is the Charcoal Pit, which is one of the most popular burgers in the city with a nice lounge atmosphere. Also right across the street is a Perkin's for that late night stack of pancakes.

The room rate for two adults is $36.00 for two fulls or one queen. Best bang for the buck in town.

Also, it's only 2 minutes strait shot down 9th street to hit Hobbytown.

Baller, We are open to a hotel I would say we should be safe to show up find a hotel we like and book some rooms. I think Boof, Billy, Irok, and myself are just going to crash in 1 room. I am game with whatever. Some beer pizza whatever works for me.

Motel 6 for me. Cheap and Mini Skirts. I have not made any reservations but I doubt they will be full we probably can stop on the way into town and get the rooms then go to the comp.

Well, I am fine with what ever. I'm more interested in the Strip Club 15 miles north in Neenah, Wi.:flipoff: then some silly clothed teases. We'll see what happens...8) I haven't had a $10 challenge in awhile. :afro:

SO, you clowns are just going to roll with it when you get there for rooms.

Yeah I think so. not to worried about rooms I am sure unless there is a hockey tourny in town there this weekend there will be openings. Though if there is a hockey tourny they useally will tie up alittle nicer hotels then a MOtel 6
