Definitly no glasspack. My brother had one on his 4.3 and it sounded terrible. He replaced it with a Flowmaster super 44 and it sounded pretty good.

1st mod for every teenager used to be flipping the air cleaner lid upside down so the air cleaner was exposed. Gives the sound without spending a penny and pops can't really complain since you can flip it back over and it's stock again.

i would have suggested that but i seem to remember on my old one that the lid was shaped in a way that the retaining screw didnt reach the lid if you flipped it... its not flat. either that or it wouldnt clear the bottom of the hood... hmmm. this will drive me nuts now

i thought i had to get a different lid plate... it has been a while though. grab a spare lid from a junkyard and cut it down to the size of your filter if you cant find a smaller one. just dont go screwing around with the one you have now in case you dont like the outcome...
