Those swampers look amazing on there, do those smell like dead hobo's like everybody else's? lol I like the collection you got as well, I always wanted a Hilux to build a replica of a mud truck my uncle had like 20 years ago, 84 yota with around 40" boggers. |

Thanks bro...I'll get you a pic here in a few....I use industrial grade velcro on most all of my scalers because I don't like putting holes in the bodies and I don't like to SEE the mounts protruding thru the body. One of my Yota's has the mounts protruding through the bed...but you can barely see it since I "bedlined" it all !! Thanks ARON Quote:
I wondered if these were gonna stink...I opened the ziploc baggy that they came in and they didn't smell bad at all???? Not sure...maybe my sniffer's not as sensitive as others??? Last edited by BiG_DaWgZ; 09-18-2010 at 12:34 AM.

The way that I've got my velcro mounted...I can raise it up and down really easily...to change my body heights for different tire sizes or ride heights. Just let me know if you've got any other ?'s ! Thanks ARON

When I first started building my yota I mounted by velcro but after awhile ended up drilling holes just to make sure.. Now looking back I wish I would have kept it but nothing styrene can't fix..lol Great looking truck.

| Thanks bro I've been working on another SCX Yota project that I recently traded for....along with about 10 more projects that I've been skipping back and forth on (Seriously !) I Recently got really lucky and found a few more of the rare....or much harder to find bodies: 1/9th Scale Jeep TJ Hardbody (Trading my Finshed out Land Rover Defender body. Jeep Liberty Hardbody (bought) OLD NIKKO Gladiator/Trailblazer (Toyota FJ Style)(bought) Jeep Gladiator (1/6th scale) (en-route....bought) Chevy Avalanche Hardbody 1/10th scale (en-route...another trade) Datsun Hardbody w/interior 1/10th-1/12th scaled (bought) Along with a few of my other builds that I've got going on....I'd say that's plenty enough to keep me busy until about Christmas....or so !!
