What did you have to do to mount the rear shocks like that? I was thinking of doing the same thing.

Could you post some body off pics?? I'd like to see how you mounted your rear shocks.. What did you do for the drop bed, just cut the old shock mounts off??

for the rear shock mounts I just used a piece of sheetmetal as a crossmember, mounted the shocks dead center and used the screws that hold the axle halves together at the bottom, very simple and effective....5 minute modification that looks killer and works awesome....i only had a set of 100 mm ultimate scale shocks which are a little long but give soo much more travel than the 90s would have, that and the 100s keep my leafs from flattening out ...kind of a droop setup for leafed rigs.....

And yes, since I had to trim the frame down to bob the bed I went ahead and hacked off the rear shock mounts....and since I bobbed the bed I figured id build the drop bed for it and so on......itll never be done....and now I cant find the snorkel...

Thanks, I really like the way it looks.. I've been wanting to do a bobbed drop bed on mine.. The only reason I havn't done it yet was not wanting to build around the shock mounts..

The clod crew looks promising. I have two cabs ready to build one as well. It is SUCH a good look. I am hoping to get mine done dome day to do a really stubby rear tube cage. I love styrene....
