Default 1.5's on a F350..Too small ?

Do these look too small? I'm going for a scale street truck and thes MT tire would be like a 35 on a 1:1 truck.

They would not be 35's on that body. That scale would be correct if the body was a true 1/10 scale body but the tamiya f-350's are not, they are slightly biggere, around 1/8 scale but closer to 1/9 scale.

I was thinking the Tamiya F350 was closer to 1/12 scale, but even at 1/8 the 1:1 tire would be around 28-29 inched tall.

They should be easy to keep cleanThe tyres look a little small if that's the ride height your aiming for IMA.

not quite that high, just didn't have anything short enough to sit it on. I'm thinking I'm gonna sale the tires and wheels (when they get here) and do some 1.9's

That's the point I was trying to make. He wants something that looks like a DD and I think he's nailed it.

A buddy of mine has a f350 of the same vintage and the tires look to be about the same height. I think they look right for a street truck.

I think the 1.55's look best with those bodys, the 1.9's look huge.. Just my opinion..

I say they are spot on for a stock to scale look.
I think what might throw off things for anyone that may say they are "too small" is the wheel arches on that specific body. They have been opened/cast to an exaggerated size to accommodate the larger size tire combos most people use on 4x4 RC's. Plus the front bumper being missing makes it look even smaller setting there.

I say go for it ! .

I say they look good, drop the body a tad and add wheels and it should be right on.
