With everything going on up front the tie rods had to go under the diff and if i had a skidder it would just hang down lower. But at least i can wiggle the steering if i get stuck this way.

Wont be long now. We will have to have an 8x8 trail run

Dustin, I cant have the 8x8 strapped to the roof because i dont want any Montana b52 bugs going splat on it before scale nationals. I recomend good sunglasses and dont smile

A very clean build. It looks like you've put a lot of thought into it.

I was thinking about finding a place for it to fit. A little scaler action would be nice.

701, rbgerrish has some good footage of it at scale nats climbing a sick line on the 2.2 finals course

Thanks but not even close to the thought that was put into yours, If they were side by side mine would look like a wallmart toy but it will take punishment like a tonka truck

Default Update

Well after smashing on this truck for over 6 months its time to add something new.....................SMOKE!!!

This is something i wanted for this truck since i built it but i could never find a smoker that would fit or work the way i wanted so i made my own

Thats pretty much all theyre is to it. I used a small piece of heat coil from a hair dryer wound around a small piece of headder wrap as a wick and instant smoke!

a small aluminum project box holds the oil and the element. I have 2 mounted to the frame to look like feul tanks, the other side works as a storage chamber

I used 1/4in vac hose to plumb intake air from the cab and exhaust to the stack

I found a small blower style fan on line then made it adapt to 1/4 line. I hooked it up to the esc to get a blast of smoke when i punch it

The business end! As soon as im home during daylight I will get some smokey action shots
