Man that looks awesome with the stack, is there any way to make the smoke black like a diesel? Also what is it like driving this monster compaired to a regular 1.9 or 2.2 ?

Was thinking about burning diesel but it would slosh around too much:-(

As far as dirveing it goes... you have to gear down on steep hills, first gear is axle snapping low, prolly not anymore top heavy than most scalers, you really need to plan youre turns but it will climb anything i can get the front bumper past

I think cotton would go up in flames. I was haveing problems with oil pluging the transfer tube to the other tank and stopping the smoke So I used an angle fitting and re routed the transfer tube throgh the frame

time for more testing

Default In the words of my 7yr old ----

In the words of my 7yr old when he is amazed at something
"Is that for real?"
&
"Telling the truth?".

Wow!!

I cannot decide what I am most amazed by:
  • Amazing welds (both cage and susp.)
  • Idea followthrough on the hinges
  • Flipping a 3spd to look like a 12L straight 6 (I used to eng fuel pumps for these, have a sectioned one in front of me now)
  • Amazing walking beam
  • flawless execution
  • The 'miniwheeler' brand of smoker

Please post video of the walking beams in action!

I am wanting to make a walking beam for a 6x6 and have a question. Does the beam have cushions in the bolt holes so it will flex or does it just have a loose fit? I am going to use axials but just wanting to make sure I have the concept straight in my head.

For power i just use the main pack 7.2v I just used the battery hooked up to a short piece of the heating element from an old hair dryer, trying shorter lenghts until it glowed red hot. The second tank was gonna be for a 2nd coil but after a little testing one was enough for me.
