Thanks. The chassis will be available in a number of different packages.

Hey Brad,
Was just looking at Griz's 2.2 also.
You guys are simply amazing. This build is a great build also. I want one soon! (very jealous) haha
Wish I was going up to Montana just to come and watch, but I'm the one who gets to stay and work.
Oh well!
It was great talking with everyone at the last comp and it was more fun than I can discribe.
I got to talk with people and friends that all had common interests, fun and competition.
Great time.

Thanks.

Got a little more work done on it yesterday. I shaved the rear axle and installed the axles truss. Then, moved the shock tower back on the chassis a bit and attached the shocks. The adjustability of the "Ute" is making the last minute build got a lot faster/easier. I double checked the fit of the body before finding links to use during this stage of mock-up. I got the links installed and the tires fitting the wheel wells fairly nice. But, the links are at a little steeper angle then I want so there's still some tweaking to do.

Decided the front needed a hardcore off-road sway bar too.

It's just for looks on this rig. Technically it should have a thin bar connecting the 2 arms/servo horns.

In the 1:1 world it basically helps control body roll both on and off road.

Got a few scale details added today. Found a fuel line plug at the LHS that I figured would be a cool radiator cap. I've got another plug for the gas cap. Cut up a stock black TLT chassis to make a skid that'll hide the steering servo. Opened up the last holes in the frame so I could bolt up a pair of D-rings. Also bought a cheap rack for the bed. I may buy another and bolt it behind this one.

Just finished installing the tranny. Still need to tweak the links a little and clock the axles a bit. But, I don't have any bind in the u-joints right now.

Brad, that is an awesome looking rig, that front bumper is killer. And the betty body just goes so well with your build. Sweet truck.

Wow! The chassis and bumpers look down right stewrific, looking forward to drooling all over this build. Your scale styling is off the hook Brad, can't wait to see what you come up with for a finished piece. Thanks for sharing with us wanabees.
