| Real Jeeps have round headlights right?
This is my first scaler build. I started with a re-release Pajero kit. I have plans for more mods, like windows, interior, and bumpers. Those may be slow in coming though. . . . . It was almost too pretty to get dirty. Almost . . . . Last edited by kwkride; 02-24-2010 at 10:45 AM. |

The wheels are Erickson Beadlocks the Tamiya tires actually fit very nicely into the grooves. And BTW the lights are from Twisted Accessories Last edited by kwkride; 06-23-2008 at 03:30 PM. Reason: Added more info

Awesome Jeep! Any pics with how you mounted the body? My brother has a 1.1 Liberty and I wanted to build him a Liberty scaler. Where did you get the body from? Good luck with mudding it up. XC chassis are a ton of fun |

I built a mount out of styrene for the front of the body and used velcro to mount it. In the rear I just drilled a couple of holes and used the stock Pajero mounts. Last edited by kwkride; 02-24-2010 at 10:46 AM.

Hmm. I just scored a New Bright Liberty off ebay...you'd better not be the guy that outbid me on the last one I tried to get Is that a Savage bumper? Glad I got to see the KJ body mounted to the XC chassis before I decided to go that route. The tires look a lot wider on those wheels than they do on 26mm TC wheels |

Yes it is, I plan to switch to some brazed bumpers one of these when I get some spare time . . . . Thanks, I'm not sure on the wheelbase, I'm out of town on business right now. I can measure it next week when I get back home. I can tell you that I'm running the stock Pajero wheelbase. It's not perfect, but it's pretty close.
