| Truggy Update...
Hey guys- Small update, After getting back the bumper that my buddy "Robbob" made me for the "Ultimate K-10" Chevy, I knew I wanted him to build me a sweet looking front bumper and some custom rock sliders for this truck too.. Well - I just got it back today, and he did NOT dissapoint..!! The MEAN looking front bumper was inspired by "looneybin's" Hilux build. I wanted something very similar for my Yota, because his bumper looked so BAD-ASS.. The sliders are super tight against the body and don't stick out much at all, yet provide plenty of body protection ( which is exactly what I wanted..) Time for a quick scuff down, prime, and paint and we'll be ready to hit the rocks..( Again ) Thanks again Bob..! Last edited by 51WillysJeep; 04-02-2009 at 08:30 PM. |

LOL- Thanks Well see, I designed it like that, because I mounted up a set of mini air actuators ,so that when you open the doors, the tops of the sliders lower down , and you are then able to get in and out of the open doors just fine..Then once the door is fully closed again, they raise back up to where you see them at now, for maximum rock protection... | |

Small Update... Got the new bumper and sliders all scuffed down and painted black.. ( The sliders seem to blend in better with the rear cagework now that they're all the same color - it looks more "complete" to me now then before..) I also decided to re-arrange things in the rear, and re-mounted the spare tire INSIDE the cagework instead of ON it... |
