Haven't been able to work on it lately but I did order another tranny plate from tamiya so I can try a mod I am thinking about. Should give me atleast another inch of clearance. I am thinking of using rock crushers too to give me a little more. Still waiting on the lights from a guy on here so i can get them mounted.

Got to work on it a but so I'm posting pics. Got the bumpers done, wanted them to look as stock as possible and I found some pics of a 52 willys that has bumpers like this. Finally got the headlights, added tailgate chains/mirrors/gas filler/willys logo on tailgate. Also added some scale accessories from proline. This thing kind of looked weird with the mud slingers so I added some rock crushers, think it looks way better and added GC to boot!

Got a "one off" highlift 3 speen in the works that should give it 2 more inches of GC. Right now it goes over whatever I want so it should be fine when the tranny is done. Took it out last week in the snow and it was awesome, unstoppable! Springs are finally starting to relaxe as well. Still might add some red RC4WD leafs though. What do you think?

Yeah the "Jerry Can" is a little small for me but the winch was perfect. Thanks for the compliments!

Yeah it's looking better than I thought. Still haven't gotten up the courage to weather the paint though, waiting until I get some road rash before I do it I think. I flipped it once the other day and the body held up great, not even a scratch.

I did finally get ahold of a guy that can make a resin mold of it, the type of plastic models are made out of. I am tempted to send it to him.

do not resist temptation.
let us know when they're available, I want one.
if you can, have the cab and bed molded seperately.

What a masterpiece! Do you cringe when you take it outside to drive it around? I know that I would... all of the time and energy into creating such a great body. Way cool!

The first time I flipped it, I thought OH CRAP! but it really didn't bother it, it broke one mirror off so I replaced the mirror anchors in steel instead of the plastic I had at first. My camera was on the fritz last night so I will try to get the pics today.
