Yeah, if you get some Rok Lox... you need portals too. I saw in one mag that they added portals to the axles.

Engine work is insane! Love the spark plug wire holders  Where are you getting the steal braided "fuel" line from? The steal braided line I used on the Atomic Toy came from a member of tamiya club with some shock reservoirs I got from him and now I am out and need to get more.Brakes came out awesome as well. As much as I am looking forward to the winter for some serious building I also cant wait for next season, I need to see this thing in person  |

wicked, wicked, work, looks so much better when its home built and not bolt on. My favorites are the brake lines, radiator, interior (especially), quality welds and bending, electrical work, and the motor work. I love how your so commited to keeping it scale to the original, without compromise! If you need braided line, I'll give you a secret, yes its a secret but I'll let you do it first (no one has tried this yet that I can see)......get some spider wire in the fishing dept. It is braided fishing line that you could get in different size "tests". so a 20lb test could be your winch line, 30lb could be your radiator lines, etc. It also comes in different colors too. If that spider wire idea helps you out, show us some pics. Also pics of full flex and the rear lights at night. Any rock lights planned? Oh, my other super stealthy secret is that your hydraulic steering could be made from an RC excavator's hydro cylinder. There are atleast a dozen different sizes and configurations. Should be able to use the hydro pump, reservoir too. I think they would be similiar in size since there are several different scales in the construction RC's |

Well spring is here and the Fun Buggy finally got its powder coating ........ not to many pics but thought I'd post some of the re-assembly. I had a local guy do the powder coating for me and it came out great.     super smooth     got the motor in ....    and axles attached    Eritex Atlas back in place and a nice little FXR wired in  got some more pics to take and a few goodies and detailing to finish up on in the next few weeks but feels freat to have it back together. |
