Those pics of rusty bearings made me cringe! Looks like you'll take good care of it. Sorry if you've said already, but where did you get your winch line? (silver coloured one).

Hah, it sucked, but its all good from now on!

The winch line is from scaleoffroad, you can buy just the line if you mail him and ask for it.

Ok, here is where im at now. I finally sat down and decided to finish the body, a lot of dremeling, sanding and painting and it turned out pretty good i think!

I still have some details to add but i got so tired and called it a day!

Here is how it looks at the moment.

Its a little more redish , light makes it look a lil orange.

Thank ya!

I made up some inner fenderwalls today, made from 2mm sheet rubber.

Turned out pretty good, it gives some contour to the walls which is nice compared to styrene.

Great Re-build. Is that the same tamiya red ( ts39 mica red)that you did on the original build? It looks a little different. The Spare tire holder you made, did you get it back and is it going on? Looks great, your original was an inspiration for my own JK build.

I think that if you're still interested in a roof rack, that a 2/3 length rack would look better than a full length.. but thats just an idea.

Yes they did work out really good and you can flip them aside if you need to access inside them.

No this is the tamiya TS-85 Bright mica red.

Yes i got it back but not the locking part, im going to build a new rear bumper and add the tirecarrier on it.

Maybe youre right, but dont know yet if im gonna build a new one, it gets kinda top heavy with a roof rack.
