Well the SCX-10 is getting shipped UPS, so it wont be here till the 16th...

I figured i would fill in the grill gaps while I decided what I wanted to do yet...

I am leaning toward using the BB-51 I have sitting here, and maybe TLTs

I'm going to think it over a bit more, its the last BB-51 I have, and I'm gonna have to cut it to make it work

I just roughed it out close before I welded it in.. try to get the flat parts straight, and then just shape away..

I haven't fully decided yet...

I know I want to do tube fenders, and bumpers, just haven't committed to the exo yet..

we'll see what happens when I start bending and welding

OK, So I grew a pair and decided it was time to hack the BB-51..

I plan to use this, a R2, a T1 transfer case, and am leaning towards using Axial axles for this instead of TLT's for parts and reliability reasons.

Plus it just seems smarter to save the narrower axles for other builds since I want a wider stance on this rig anyway.

Chassis marked to cut

Cut, drilled for the r2 and transfer, narrowed to match the r2 and assembled..

Like it was ment to be...

I think I am going to go "borrow" the axles off my comp rig to get this thing mocked up..
