Hey guys, well its been way TOO long since I've taken the ole' Willys Pickup out of the display case and figured it was time to wheel it for a bit today . Heres a few pics from the trip.

I will soon be building a custom inner radiator, rear diamond plate storage/tool box, wiring up the head and tail lights (again), some sort of "real" interior and mount up a Hi-Lift Jack in the bed. Enjoy the pics

Hmm, that rear fender looks a little close to the rocks below..

Heres a few "chuckin' dirt" pics..

Honestly, I completely forgot how well this thing wheels for a full leaf sprung truck . Its a blast to drive, and after today, It will be getting driven MUCH more than before..!!

Thank goodness you updated us Chris, this rig is way to nice to just sit there and collect dust( no comments from you about a certain tan rig).
Glad to see it out and running on some wicked terrain! You need to sell this rig to me when the time comes, LOL.

Great pics !

Hey Chris, looks like you added a few "bigger" rocks to the backyard?

Hope it's going to Skinner!

Default Update

Hey Guys, its been a LONG time since I had this rig out on the trails. I also felt it was finally time to change the wheels and tires to something a little more scale..

I'd seen a few sweet builds using the 1.55" RC4WD Mud Slingers, and I thought they would look cool on this truck. So I got some, and also ordered up a set of the black stamped steel beadlocks. This rig looks SOO much better to me now, I absolutely LOVE these wheels and tires, they just "fit" the overall feel of this rig..! Heres some wheelin' pics from this afternoon- enjoy..!

Check out the rear tire in the picture below..

DAMN - thats some serious sidewall flex..!! And Yep- the beadlocks work great..!!

Wow!! Always loved this one. The Mud Slingers are perfect for that rig. They need to be a bit more "worn out" though. I really like the black 1.55's but I think the white ones would look killer too and with a red pinstripe around the outer edge of the wheel!!!

Great rig. Look like you changed out the shocks too! turned down tlt's or RC4WD ultimate scale?
