i wou8ld think about re drilling your canti's for less leverage on the shocks... that or go with some stiffer springs... combine that with a softer sway mbar and you it should round out the back end pretty well! id keep the sway bar for looks but minimize its function... they are for on road performance! no rock crawling! haha what would be cool is some scale quick disconnects! haha

Yea, due to soft shocks mounted close to the pumpkin, but with sway bar its all gone.

I have though of drill or make new levers for better leverage, but i get new shocks the comin week and will make a less heavy sway bar and like you said it will sort out the problems i had before.

Made a new swaybar today with a 1.5mm rod instead of 2mm, now its much softer and seem pretty much perfect, i hope it softens up a little after some use and by then it should be perfect.

Hope to get the shocks in this week as well so i really can fine tune the rear.

I also have som high steering knuckles on the way here, should be here this week.

Got them of ebay, they are a gpm tamiya df-02 part, i got the tip from dakillswitch, but i think sloppy mentioned it at first.

I hope they fit (not sure yet), ive heard they require some dremeling to fit but nothing drastic.

Ill keep ya posted on this!

nice work. how did the sway bar work for you? do you have pics of the top of the setup?

where did you get the tabs that are mounted from sway bar to middle of frame?

Thanks!

It works just fine, its a little stiff at 1.5mm pianowire, could go a little thinner but i like how it handles so i think it will stay.

It took away almost all torque twist i had with the rear suspension setup, it made it perform soo much better.

The tabs are from my LHS, i think they are for airplanes but i dont know what for.

I can look if i have any pics from top.

The jeep looks great, I love all of the detail that you've put into it. As for the sway bar I run them on a lot of stuff. If you look at the full size comp crawlers a lot of guys run them. It really helps to balance your rig. I just keep it fairly soft. Its amazing to run a line without it then to turn around and run it with it. The rig is typically way more stable with it. Just because it flexes like crazy doesn't make the rig stable.

Exactly! Thats what i noticed when i put the swaybar on, soo much more stable, i will pobaly go down to 1mm piano wire, but im afraid it will be to soft and give to much torque twist. WeŽll se!
