You should come up to the skook this weekend. We have 41 1.9 drivers signed up. NW qualifier ? Of coarse we would need some ORCRC representation
It's squared off to clear the motor plate, I couldn't make that sharp of a bend so I squared it.

I wanted to come up, but was informed by my wife that the new baby was being blessed on Sunday.

They're getting hard to find....if you find an extra, I'm looking for one.

Did a little more work on the rear fender tubes and sliders.

I also got the front bumper mocked up in cardboard, now I just need to find time to work on it....

You take way too long, Zach or DJ would have been done by now.

I know...Zach has started and finished 3 rigs since I started this one. I do have a 2 month old baby and family coming over for the weekend. Not looking too good for getting much done.

It's stainless tubing . Weighs next to nothing....in fact, every piece of metal on this rig is stainless. I found a source for .020 wall stainless tubing in 1/8", 3/16", and 1/4". It's not cheap, but weighs about 40% less than brake line and silver solders like nothing else.

Tim this rig just stands like its a bad muther-effer. The bajas were made for it! Glad you went with the metal for the interior....very clean rig so far.

Care to share your source ?

I love ss tubing too, much nicer to braze, although a bit of a pain to work with due to the hardness. Bloody stuff is super expensive around here, if you can even find it!

Build is coming together nicely.

Actually the Mickey Thompson's are not going to stay...they're just too big. I have another idea for tires that are a bit smaller.

Grainger. Ranges from $11 to $15 for a 6 foot piece. They offer all different sizes and wall thicknesses. The seamless is really expensive....around $6 to $8 per lineal foot.
