Nice looking build! Stay on it!
No, they're just laying there right now but they will be close.

Thanks!

Very nice build, I love Rovers.

If you still need some SCX shock towers I have a full set still in the bag you can have. PM me if you think you still need them.

I got a bit more done on this thing today. I brazed up some rock sliders that then go around the rear fender wells and then tie into the rear bumper. The rear bumper stinger is to protect the spare and the supports will provide some protection to the tail lights.

I'll be adding some tabs on the sliders to mount the body and then add a couple braces from the bumper to the chassis. After that I can sand some angles on the sliders and fill the open holes in the tube with JB weld before it gets painted.

Thanks a lot for the offer, I appreciate it. R2j hooked me up with a set so I'm good now.

And thanks for the compliment, this is turning out to be a fun build.

Def keeping an eye on this, nice to see something other than a hilux, jeep, or old school defender being built . Off to a great start.

Dang man...slow down, you're using all my ideas. That's exactly how I'm doing my rear fender wells .

I got my tabs brazed up to mount the body to the chassis and my rear bumper/chassis braces done.

I also got all my links made up and mocked up the axles. I'm waiting for my shock mounts (thanks to R2j for hooking me up) to get here and then I can get the shocks mounted and figure out my ride height. I'm thinking it will be about where it's sitting in the pics maybe a little lower.

Wheelbase is right at 12.25"

Oh yeah, and the doors are going back on they're just removed while I was making body mounts.

Here's a pic sitting next to my daughters Honcho and another with my class 1 Yj.

Next I'll be starting on the front bumper and inner fender wells and then it'll be time to tear it down and paint.
