Thats how it is on a Bruiser, I see no reason for it not to work.

Diaz- This lastest frame is awesome man, I think Tamiya should have just contacted you when they needed to design the frame Keep us updated

The issue I see is the fact that the stock driveshaft is fully compressed at full droop, and extends as the suspension is compressed. When the shackles get flipped, the opposite will try to happen. They'll try to get even shorter.
DTP pointed out that 'pede sliders will fix that issue. ;)
That's probably the best way to do it. I haven't looked too close, but I'm not sure it'd be possible to shorten the stock driveshaft. I wonder if the Diaz chassis can be lengthened in the front so that the shaft is fully extended at droop to solve it?
Am I thinking too much about it?
I guess we'll see what happens when the mock up is complete.

made some rock rings yesterday. they are out of 1/8" alum. i need to make them out of 1/16" i think.

i forgot to drill the 1/16" holes for the attachment screws.
i made some already for the 2.2's just never bothered to sell them

well since my bearings still have'nt showed up i decided to put the truck together. this is the chassis with the holes mounted too hight for the bed.
all the holes lined up for the tranny. i guess i have to buy another truck to runn it with the bearings
