All the Seats are done minus the belts (still waiting for parts)


Also got the Dashboard done today
FJ's are pretty easy to do

This is coming to end soon. I have been enjoying every minute of this build. I am so excited and happy with how this has been coming along. 100

Any suggestions on rims for this bad ass rig is welcome....

I'd go Locked Up
Probably 1.9 Rock Cutters use SLW Hubs to get the width spot on
Scale Bolts, Acorns and Hubs Job Done.

I agree on the choice of wheels as well. It will be perfect he will get more.

I did chat with Patrick, once there in stock ordering 5 for this rig. Great choice I might say. Grade 8 bolts as well. Say Neil, any more pics available? Collecting a parts list of what will be needed to finish. Getting excited,like a little boy getting his first bike.

The belts are done and the seats are in.
The Snorkel is also done just waiting for the paint to dry

Snorkel is on and Painted




Also added the Fake Winch well 3/4 of one.
The real winch which I believe is going to be a servo version has a bracket under the hood.
The line will then come out of an RC4wd Viking Fairlead.
This one is all Styrene and a Few bits of old wire to look like winch line on the drum.
Fiddley Yes
Took ages Yes
Looks the part though
