Dear RC4WD, thank you for this nice brown box. It compliments my hobby room nicely and will provide a great place for guests to sit.


I find something odd about this particular box though. It's pretty heavy for a regular old cardboard box. Maybe it's not a regular old cardboard box after all? Maybe there are more boxes inside of it or maybe it's full of marbles!?! Or maybe it's just full of heavy air...

I must investigate. Carefully.

First, I cut tape.






Time to unfold the top.






Spaceship truck! Hooray!




Now, to extract the Space Cruiser box from the outer box...


Now the tricky part. Removing the shrink wrap.


This isn't a space ship!! It's a land truck of some sort.








Then things got real. I broke the factory seal. I rhymed.

That's a great looking box. Be careful with it. You don't want to damage it, or yourself.

All new bumpers and mounting points for the Cruiser body. Otherwise standard Gelande 2.

That's a good idea. And you could "test" it out for him for the first 3-5 years.

Any way to even out the floor of the FJ by getting rid of that box thing between the seats? Looks like it is there to clear the ESC mounting plate, not the shock hoops, which are under the seats, right?

That's the only thing I'm not crazy about. This has to be the best scale truck I've seen in production.

It totally was. Land Cruisers are known not only for their land cruising abilities but also their space cruising abilities.

Correct. It would be an easy fix with some ye olde styrene and some spacers to push the shock mounts out further. Don't let that deter you!
