Right lets get some paint on this thing.
I looked for an actual colour but couldnt find anything close off the shelf so I mixed up my own and airbrushed on a base coat.

Then Proceeded to attack it to within an inch of its life.
I have most of it done to my liking.
Once it gets used and starts rusting on its own it should age up nicely.
Pictures.
Hawkeyed viewers will notice I have stuck some wood in the bed and widened the front edge of the bed.

Great job!, that's outstanding metal work, the weathering is excellent, can't wait to see the natural rusting start

Couple of little things.
Fabbed up a rather nasty front bumper from some steel oddments.
Kept it simple with just a towing point welded on.
Going rusty already even before I mounted it up!!

Going to need one of these to as a Stock plastic one wasnt going to cut it.

I have used this guy before and i'd use him again even if he is getting harder to find.
He'll need a colour change in the clothing department but i'll get to that later.

Great build, that steering wheel I amazing, the grips on the back of the wheel add some scale goodness.

Some more progress:-
Splashed some Black at the underside and the links

Turned down the Hi-lift Shocks and Painted them White shortened the back 2 just a touch.

Altered the driver so he fits nice. Adjusted his legs and then repainted him.

This isn't a crawler.

This is a work of art.

Brave Pill swallowed axles done.
I think the grey needed toning down but I did still want them to stand out.
Shot them with some Satin Black then airbrushed in some hi-lights with 'Warplock Bronze'

Paint can be removed relatively easily so I didnt feel that bad.

Vp need to offer custom anodizing as an option on these axles.
