Lets update this shall we. The Wheels after much deliberation the VP ones had to go. In came a set of 5lug Steelies which I promptly semi stripped back. Found some Centres to cover the wheel nuts just waiting for the Scale Lug Nuts to turn up. At the Back I turned some Small Scale Lights out of some brass and screwed them into the rear bed. Lenses to make yet. Weathered the Wood in the Bed with some gravy/ coffee and some black paint. Started the Dash pretty simple in these Jeeps. Steering wheel fits in nicely and the driver can reach it which is always good. Seats where taken from an old Massey Fergusson Tractor no wait they werent but they were made to look like tractor seats with an old spring some denim and some red paint. To tie the Seats in with the rest of the truck I put the headliner in the same material. Under the Hood which is now attached with a rusty hinge an Axial 27t an Axial AE5 and a Hitec 7950th Servo were squeezed in. There is now enough room for a Scale Motor to go over the top to hide them. |

Sorted the electrical gremlin out. Moved the ESC to the back away from the motor and its all working fine now. Update Little chain on the tailgate Cut the front fenders off and added in some extra metal to make them a little wider. Bit too pinched for my liking as it was Then made them removeable as well they attach with a couple of bolts. Under the front I now have a good space for a motor. Going Diesel Cummins with plenty of torque and maybee a Turbo!! |

That is awesome. Put one more fuel injection line on there though. Only 5 and there needs to be 6. I can build the real ones but never would have the patience for this level of detail. Keep it up!

The 6th ones there but cant be connected because the spur is in the gap at the back. Couldnt odds it, things are tight under the hood. | |

Dready .. it has been amazing watching you put the Stinky Ass Acres Crawler together. The motor detailing is just outstanding. There are many great scale build but this one sets a believable visual stage that tells a story. That make this build one of the most brilliant and most enjoyable RC scale truck builds to date. I find it hard to believe it won't win the guild judges hearts.

Hidden Love It was looking a little flat in the tyre department being weighty that it is so I treated it to some CI Novas. |

Bit of Paint on the Motor. Fitted a couple of toggle switches under the hood to turn the esc and servo on and off. Shifter and Parking Brake in place. Made a Removeable cover to hide the Battery between the frame rails. Got to keep things legal so its rolling on Colorado plates. |

So kept looking back at the front and didnt like the headlamp surrounds So knocked up some rather natty metal rings instead. Now at this point I was going to fit them to the Jeep but well that'll have to wait a couple of days. Anyone seen my fingerprint??? |
