| Attaching Body to Look more Scale
Ive been doing some searching on here and i see there are a few that have attached there bodies to there truck not with the normal body clips but velcro, and other ways as well. i was just wondering how did they do that is it a custom mount? something that can be bought? i am working on a 1.9 scale rig and want to keep it as scale looking as possible. so ive been looking for ways to hold my body on without putting holes in it for the normal way of doing so. any help with this would be great, pics sites you have seen that you got the idea from on how you did it, or got inspiration from. thanks |

There are magnetic kits that attach directly to the body posts. Just a quick example. Shaluoman RC N10078 Alloy Magnetic Stealth Invisible Body Post Mount Model Car Black https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0147Z9V9E..._mqsHxbNX0CW26 Sent from my LG-H900 using Tapatalk |

^^^^ What they said. The magnetic mounts are pretty good. I always preferred the velcro idea. For that you'll have to probably fabricate custom mounts. I usually just make big hoops out of aluminum flat stock. One that sits under the hood, one that sits under the cab roof, and then one on each side low on the body. I don't have any pics handy though. It's pretty simple fab work.

I know someone who run them. They are fine until he starts rubbing the side of the truck on rocks and it just pulls the body off Sent from my LG-H900 using Tapatalk |

I do the velcro method. I use a couple of aluminum rods threaded for M3 screws and then a plexiglas plate over the top. The rods I use fit into the standard body post mounts. They hold up well for my driving style.

snip the top of the plasic body mount post off and drill a hole in the top. Screw a plate across from post to post and add the velco. Use the heavy duty snap velcro. I do that in the front of my truck. In the back i did the same but put a single screw through the metal plate and velco. Its hidden under the spare.
