Default Boom Racing D90 chassis

https://www.asiatees.com/display?id=...eous&model=All

Anyone have any experience of these, I'm looking at building another D90 and this chassis looks so close to the RC4WD and the price seems really decent!

I just purchased one for my eBay/China Jeep JK body. Great looking deal for $269.00 + free shipping! Most of the Gelande II clones go for $350 or more, and don't even look as good as the Boom Racing version. I already have a couple of Gelande II's, but wanted something more budget-friendly to devote to the China Jeep.

7/22/17 Update: AsiaTee's shopping cart apparently glitched, allowing me to select a $0 Airmail Saver shipping option. Early this morning, I received an email from them, including an invoice for $53. I went back and looked at the shipping options available, and the $0 option was now $25, which means they're asking me to pay the 2nd highest shipping option available. I've replied, asking them, essentially, to either honor my initial purchase, or cancel and refund me. If they cancel it, I'll likely go with the GCM Skeleton J2, being a more sure fit for the China Jeep body.

Thanks Johnny, I noticed the free saver delivery option about the same time as you - though it was a regular deal and was waiting for payday but looks like it was too good to be true. Noticed the team raffee co d90 chassis looks pretty good too, perhaps with not as good axles though

I know some people seem to swear by AsiaTees, but I find their overall shopping experience to be below my standards, and after this recent experience, I think I'll not visit there anymore. I gave them a week to respond to my email (which was in response to their sending me a shipping invoice of $53), but they never replied. I contacted their LiveChat service last night and canceled the order. Done with that.

Last time Asiatees charged me exactly 6 cents shipping when I ordered some parts....I had a laugh at that.

My orders come in through NY customs, and usually have them in a few days over here on the east coast. Takes longer to get from NY to my house (4 hour drive) than it does to get in from overseas.

I have to shop there and RCMart a lot as they often have Tamiya parts that I cannot find stateside.

For smaller items, they're not too bad, but for full kits, they charge nearly 5x more than other overseas stores, particularly eBay stores.
