Default I know! One more China eBay Jeep done by an I.D.10.T

I know I said I was getting out of the hobby, but I was working on this rig at that time. It may stick around as a shelf queen or for my wife. But here it is.

I made a trade for the body and SCX10 II chassis. I had a bunch of extra parts sitting around. And I did buy a couple at that.

VP 1.9 OMF wheels with matching purple middle rings.
1.9 Proline TSL Swampers small
RC4WD K44 axles
90 & 70 King shocks
MIP shafts
T-case via RC4WD
Bulldog tranny
HH TM 35t
FXR esc
SSD winch
7950 Servo
LURC 200# line
Custom made links
Brake tubes for a roll cage
Windshield chopped 5mm
Metal doors from IDK
Vader rotors
Blue LED headlights
Body dress up kit

And purple, because my dad had a purple CJ5 back in the 70s.

I still need to make a 6.75” rear bumper. It is possible for me to move the tires to 4.19” for C1.

Any additional items or ideas for improvements would be appreciated.

I made some bumpers for this little Jeep. It turns out that this thing is a lot of fun to drive.

I built the bumpers and then took em to the trails. They didn’t stay pretty for long.

I like your China eBay Jeep! It appears that you can't leave the hobby just yet. There's room in there for an action figure driver. I'm just sayin'

Is that a M-715 military truck next to your jeep in the last pic? Somebody did a good job on that too!

Yes it is an M-715. I have a build thread on it. Much more detailed than this quick final shot thread. You can find it under the 1.55 section, or try this link to it.

I’ll try to sneak some photos of it. The design is actually highly classified. Ha, ha.

Here are some photos of the chassis setup and how I connected the body to the chassis. It’s actually two screw up front and a body pin in rear. Look carefully and you will see it.

The front mounting plate slides in behind the winch and will attach on the underside of the servo brace. The brace is a GCM modified item.

Thanks for the pics. Did you move the skid plate forward?
