| Very well said, I didn't see any where that you were claiming to be the first to build one. Anyways your rig is a work of art and you should be damm proud of it.

Going to fab up some of my own Hydro steering parts, but I've got a question. What kind of tubing did you use? From the pics I see that it should be some kind of silicone hose. |

Where has that thing been hidin'!!! Damn, that is one fine looking Toyota. Ahhh, to own or have access to a machine shop!! I am very envious. That steering system is some of the most beautiful fabrication work I've ever seen. Absolutely gorgeous. I've had a similar idea in my head for a couple years now, a master/slave type hydro-steer system. Unfortunately it's not the kind of thing you approach using only hand tools and a drill press at least not me anyway. One of these days... Last edited by Big Mike; 11-02-2010 at 02:09 PM. |

ok I also LOVE this and want it if you ever sell it!! but i have to ASK, what kinda power is that putting out? I see your using a hi end JR to push the fluid, that must mean there is a LOT of preasure in there so what kinda steering are you getting outta this thing? Its the most amazing "yota" I have ever seen, not one better in my book, well done friend!! |

Really really like that. Since joining here my mind has been blown wide open with the amount of skill and patience some folks have, some builds you really need to study the pic to find details to show it's a model not a full sized car. On this this i think it's fantastic they way you've not only built it and spent great attention to detail, it's also the engineering on things like the hydraulic steering. Great work Cheers Mark |
