I used to have some mud slingers, they worked well in dirt&etc but I do more slick rock sort of scaling. I used to have some, looked cool, just didn't perform the greatest...lol. Also, I just think the rock grabbers are not to scale looking, but thanks for the heads up.

Updates...

-Finished floor
-Passenger frame
-Floor Pan supports and floorpan
-Started Exo cage brazing
-Made diamond plate toolbox(To hold 3c lipo, reciever, BEC and BL winch controller.)
-Made a cooler (To hold Mamba Max ESC, fits like a glove(Thinking about adding vent or holes later for cooling.)

My plan tomorrow is to sand, primer, sand, paint and clear.

Updates...

-Did last primer/sanding
-Put down base color

Tomorrow I will be painting the hood black and clearing it. :party:

Well I painted the hood black yesturday and used a whole can of clear on it.
I will put more pics up when I get more of the exo cage done.

nice work Justin, I wish i knew you were going for that look on the hood.
I had a piece of carbon fiber vynal that would have made that orange pop, but mybe on the next one. I am an orange **** myself, maybe not on my crawlers but in my real 1/1 jeeps etc. can't wait to see it done.

SICK! I just finished reading his 1:1 build thread on Pirate... I'm impressed I may have to jump on board with nearly destroyed clod body and narrow her up. Great work man, keep the updates coming.

when the grill was mounted it really looks like a hopped up VW Golfmk2 ish ;) sweet color combo too
