Just so nobody thinks I gave up.

Fresh coat of un-sanded white primer after leveling everything out again.

This rig is looking great!

What are you using for headlights? Are they a large LED from a flashlight?

All this thing needs is some black curries at full retail!

I make joke.

Well I'm okay with that over the blackwells. But I refuse to pay anything less than 20 percent over retail and add your own shipping cost

I'm not sure the curries would look right - center section looks to big on most rigs to me....
You should slap a set under there for us all to us and if I am right I will but them from you at 20% under retail....

I agree with J, center section would be way too big. However when i first set out to build this rig it was going to have TXT axles under it lol

You may both be right....but the curries will still look good if off scale a bit but the function much better then the blackwells in regards to geometry and over all use.

I traded the blackwells off...too much headache for a rig like this.

I havent really heard much about the B-well axles, are they any good? you didnt want to bother with the issues they may have down the road but what would those be?
Im not a fan of any rc4wd axles and have always had very bad luck with them but daaaayum are they scale. model builders axles for sure, not drivers. But yeah, never even held a set of those b4. they look nice!

have to say, you know this is one bad ass rig! hope its worth the head-PAIN in the end for ya.. Im sure it will be! looks great, I want to see this thing finished!

AXLES?

oh and what are the lite buckets from?

Like you mentioned Jeepster...the RC4WD scale axles are beautiful and scale...but you just can't trust them to be durable. It's a bummer of a trade off. You can run them scale and do plenty of scale driving....but if you're going to really drive a rig, they just aren't going to hold up...especially a heavier custom rig like this.
