What are the guys wearing for hats? Love the purple/silver combo and the wheels are beautiful. The whole package looks great with the Pit Bulls. Great work on the welds too. Mounting those servos so low on the axles really reduces how much you notice them; very nice. Looks very capable and unique for sure Sam. |

The hats are some rubber axial caps or something that I got from another member selling a lot of plastic axial stuff. I have no idea what they are for, one is smaller than the other. BJ has a bigger head than Matt so it worked, . It was late one night and got a little crazy with the krazy glue. Not sniffing it of course.....

Joking on the points for hats, no points for silly things like that, at least for me. Some other out there might, I really don't care. Here are some pics from early on, reverse build thread so to speak. I built this in about 10 days so didn't really have much time to do a proper thread. Drivetrain Chassis start, fixture worked great. Shots of the lay out, motor up front and low as possible. Actually had to clearance the diff a bit and dinky trusses got slimmed way down. And boom, a chassis is born! Some panels. We are wheelin! |

To say it's "capable" is an understatement...more like "unstoppable". Anyone who was there this weekend will agree, I'm sure. Great job as always Sam! |

Damn ... just damn! That transmission mount in ingenious too. I can't believe you built it in not so many days - it's a work of art. Kick Corey next time you see him for me. |

| Re: Short Fuse Thanks man, it hasn't shown any signs of rusting yet either which is cool. I think its just over 7 lbs 1oz with my carved up pitbulls on slws. It didn't handle nearly as well with the heavier tss wheels as in the pics, which is too bad because I love those wheels. My plan after ttc was to go back to plastic axles but think I will leave it, the ring and pinions will hold up better in the long run I think.

Where would you like that kick placed exactly? lol. The tranny plate was easier than mounting it to the bottom like you normally do, I was able to round off the bottom of the tranny for better clearance too. It does make it a bit funky changing the motor out though. Im pretty much sold on the t-case thing, worked so good in the bug thought it would in this too. Next to rebuild my class 2 into something I really like Ill tell Corey you said hi
