| Szczerba's 2.2 Moonbuggy
To start off my 52nd rig to build up since 2007, I Ended up snagging this starter chassis from Kona_Joe a little bit ago. Class-3 W.E. Rock Unlimited Buggy build As I got it. Scale motor I had laying around sitting in it. Had one front truss with it too. Top left, below. Wraith axles with lots of good parts. | Szczerba's 2.2 Moonbuggy Thanks Got some new HV500 Holmes Hobbies servos for front and rear steering. ... Making a new rear axle truss setup to match the front. Buggy is 3-link front and rear. Still some welding left to do. Ignore the chassis panhard bar locations for now. We'll tend to those in a bit. |

Correcting the chassis panhard mount. Rear. Top is corrected for more uptravel and flex. Front as it was. Corrected. |

That looks like a ridiculously long panhard which will be fantastic for not having any lateral movement but I'm curious to see how you are going to make the steering link just as long? Or is it going to stay servo on axle?

Wondering when this build was coming. That trans is a perfect size for limited space in a full tuber. 4ws ftw!!! |

messing with all the electronic locations now. The steering link wont be as long as the panhard in this setup but that shouldn't hinder performance. Plan on running two faux 3racing servos on the axles. Quote:
A bit further on Instagram, search #szczerbabuilt It's going to be a challenge to make it all fit. Two steering servos, servo winch, trans/motor, battery, t-case, full interior, scale rear engine, etc, etc. Last edited by Szczerba; 01-24-2016 at 11:28 AM.

| Re: Szczerba's 2.2 Moonbuggy Yes, well, I thought so, action. Thanks. Flip flopping between steering servo locations, balanced with all the other components that need to go in the chassis. |

Thanks. Chugging along. Only getting 2 hours during the weeknights to work on it. Alot of tacking stuff into place for the time being. Cheating and going with axle mounted servo out back for now. Still need to weld two more mount points and redo the drag link. Front is CMS that still needs some tweaking. Servo winch mount point one mocked up. Sitting on shocks stance.
