Default Motor and esc combo

What would be a good set up for a bomber I'm not concerned too much about the crawling, basically going for a good trail rig with the ability to speed up quite a bit. From what I have been seeing the pro4hd paired with the rx8 anyone have any experience with these? Or better suggestions?

That's not a bad choice. As a trail rig, are you worried about waterproofing? If so, check pint Holmes BLE speed controller and Puller Pro motors.
