Thread resurrection/update. I’m bad at this sh**, who knew. This thing has actually been up and running for quite a while now. I’m running a mamba x/ castle 3800kv on 3s with a ecopower 120t front servo and a 2075x traxxas servo I had laying around in the rear. I’ve been waiting for one of them to conk out for a while now, but knock on wood.... Vanquish trailing arms and front chubs/knuckles, xtra speed housings, currently it’s on rc4wd battle axes and mud slinger xl’s. I made a set of rock sliders and then nickel plated them as well. It could use a sway bar and for sure a more reliable set of shocks, but its wheelbase is long enough that it’s not too sketchy when it’s pinned. Looks good. Because of this thread (and I can’t fit nor braze) I have low balled all the Chinese fleaBay vendors for a tube chassis every time I get on a computer. Low balled 2 just this morning about 8:30. Lol.

Thanks, it’s been a fun project and it’s easily my favorite thing to drive at the moment. It’s been basically bulletproof other than leaky shocks and a pair of universals, but that has to be expected considering how heavy it is, 4ws, and always running it on 3s. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk | |
