Putting on the night moves!!

So, now that its getting hot again, we need to go do a night run. Say badlands or MM. I know i'm going to get crap for not posting a date, but lets see how many people want to do this before we start tossing around a time and day.

KLR104 and I have been doing night runs for about 4 weeks now and post up but don't get any interest. We have done Mini Moab and Falcon Hill.

I know both of us and another guy would be interested.

48th and piedmont, west on Piedmont to 45th which turns into Estes which turns into 43rd place.
It's on the north side of 43rd between Monte way and Vaughn dr. Easy peasy.

Wish I could make it night, but just got home to a sick kid and a stressed wife. Im down for next weds, plus should have the 1.9 all put back together

So Wednesday night then? Pima? I got new gears... Did the over and under drive gears on my hilux.. I did the under on my jk and it's rad. It's pretty extreme with both on the hilux tho. Dying to give her a test whirl up Marcos. See what kinda difference they make...

I had the over and unders on my comp crawler and it was sweet. But when I put them on my Honcho, I got kind of a twitchy move. But I should be down for Weds, Steph said she has no prob watchin the little munchkin.

Yeah. Turns out the under drive gear is a slightly bigger difference than the over, so I rock that in my jk. I love it. Better turning, etc... So this should be interesting. But it is a huge difference in wheel speeds...

I think I have it all figured out. Cleaned the brushes and finished the steering. Gotta install Duuuuude's flip mod and then It should be good. Still gotta orders some 3S batts. They made a huge difference.

Fish is back in town. Two weeks on the road is tough. Haven't driven a scaler in a month. Who's down for a Pima Canyon (south mountain) run asap? Tonight? Monday? I don't care. Just wanna drive... You get that dang-ol' honcho sorted yet?

I went out Tuesday night with Roy San and Andrew.. great run. Let's do it again. How many of us can we get together, on a weeknight, to go up Pima Canyon? There are so many trick lil spots. Great lil runs, linked together for a couple hundred yards... Let's go!
