Because it is made as a direct bolt on chassis .... the taps are for the battery tray ..

I know this thread seems to be from awhile ago but I have a question. I just got my scorpion kit and have the pro chassis on the way. What size lipo can I fit next to the servo on the front axle??

Thanks

70mm is about as long a batt as you can fit on the axial front with the servo to the side

I ran the Maxamps 3s 2000mah pack but that pack was a bit to big. The front on the Warthog chassic would hit the pack if 3/4 or more compressed. I didn't try it, but im pretty sure it would work great as I use the Hyperion Gx3 3s 1100 mah pack on my swx chassis. Both setups i used a servo plate that went across the axle.
