nothing new at the momment. I did put a battery mount on the front axle, put oil into my shocks(way more predictable.)

I am in the works of a driveshaft dig. Almost done will post pics in day or two.

still have not gone outside to play, still some snow at higher elevations. Just playing inside.

So all it cost me was 3$ for the two valve seats, 3$ for a foot of plumbing tube, had a spare servo, 5$ for two sets of driveshafts and some time.

The front end on that thing is really short! What length upper and lower links are used on that rig?

Im gonna go to get the stuff to build one today but i was wondering what the length of the unit is if you dont know I cna just experiment a little too. I was also lookin to use a little from your thread and some from the sticky at the top of the main ax10 forum. Im gonna use steel pipe and nuts on the end for durability and dril and tread 3mm holes on the side for the screws. Ill put pics up on here when im done!

How are your servo's holding up? When you flex your suspension the drive shaft will compress and extend a little. Are you using a servo saver or something?

servo's holding up just fine. what's servo saver?? If I don't know what it is I probably don't have one.....
What about driveshaft compressing and extending....isn't that normal......

I find that when climbing steep inclines the rear passenger shock wants to unload then the front passenger tires comes off the ground. This way shock unloads a little but front tire stick to the ground.;)

First off Im sorry for the copy but I cant justify $100 for a chassis I just wanna do some testing on and remove a couple months down the road because once i get my setup dialed my plans are to make a custom tuber with the 60/40 distribution. But back to the subject. Im running limited E-maxx shocks with maxx springs I cut a coil and a half off and full droop in the front with springs inside to hold the shocks closed and am having great sucsess. I am also running 90wt oil in the front and 60 out back.

I scored last in the last comp. But that was due to electrical glitches in the first round and burned up my steering servo the second. but as for the chassis itself there is a night and day difference. The truck climbs much more stable and with the rear sprung it has immense ground clearance without sacraficing any low cg. Im just now getting it dialed in so its time to start designing the tuber!

My RTR AX10 does that, nevertheless its a cool looking AX10. Nice work!
