The Moonbuggy chassis was produced by T1e. The Rockshow SS was a one-off that I cut out myself using the T1e chassis as a starting point.

By the way, this thing did exceptionally well today in it's first comp. I took first in our club's winter season opener with a 24 (2nd and 3rd were a 44 and a 50). This chassis just plain works.

This was a custom, one-off that I built. It's not something that is available for the public. I guess T1e has something in the works, though.

I have to admit that before building this truck, I was getting pretty frustrated with my Sportsman. With this one, the Sportsman class may just be my favorite class!

This new chassis looks really good, do you have a close up shot of how the upper links connect to the chassis?

This really isn't the new T1e Rockshow SS. This is a one off that I built. I actually cut this one out before I even knew T1e was working on a new version.

Thanks.
I run it at about 3" at the front of the skid and 3 1/4" at the back.

My bodied chassis will be out shortly. It has a hair more rake to the skid and can run 3 1/2" or 4" shocks.

How does the truck handle with that ground clearance? Most MOAs run at that height but the sprung weight is much less. I'm just curious because I'm creeping back into comping with a shafty.

Phenomenally well. At the Holiday Havok Comp this past weekend, My Berg was the only truck to finish all 3 courses, and (while it was off the clock, so no pressure), I went back and ran this rig on some of the harder gates and it pulled all of the same lines as my berg. I also easily won the first comp that ran with this rig. It's a real performer.

Ashton, are you wanting to run bodied or bodiless?

I have ran a bodiless berg for a while now and I wanted to do something different so I'm putting my XR10 body to use.
