Default jeepcj578s 2012 sportsman

When my daughter was born i stopped competing and now shes two i have decided to build another truck. i drew this up and had a buddy cut it out for me, thanks man. Anyway here are some pics i hate typing.

And yes i know it says 12.7 on the cad but thats with stright links.

Well i didn't take any pics of it at the comp a couple weeks ago, so here are some bench pics. i ended up making my own tubes for the axle, got the VP C's and knuckles, and xr10 universals. since i made my own i decided to make them wider then the shorts and shorter than the longs.

well after the comp i found a few thing that needed to be addressed.
i ground the universals so they don't "jump around", and made some new SS rear lower links for more clearance. And the other things i need to fix is i need some new batts, smaller with more punch, and a new motor, tried a few i have around here and not happy with them. need a little more weight up front and to just get some more drive time on it.

Looking good. I found some more crazy lines further up the beach towards the pavilion that are stupid steep. We'll try them out next time you can get out there. Here is the only pic that I got when we were out there last time. The new amount of clearance looks much better compared to the previous setup in the pic.

The rear turned out great What's your ground clearance? Very nice chassis design.
