| Questions about original AX10 KIT (first gen.) and latest KIT
I just bought a used AX10 the seller said he assembled in 2010. I assume this is the first generation. Besides the Axial tires replaced with Proline, were there any other changes/improvements made over years? Also, it has mostly hex bolts, except on the steering knuckles and rods - I thought kits had ALL hex bolts? |

the ax10 had a few phillips head screws in it. if i remember right the screws that held on my lower suspension links were phillips also. there wasn't many changes if any in the ax10 over the years.

Maybe not first generation. First AX10 was 2007. Axial switched from philips screws to hex a couple of years ago I believe.

They all came with ProLine tires. My RTC came with a mix of phillips and hexs.

Axial has come a long way since the rock lizards. I still rock the green tranny spacers as a eulogy to the now deceased ax10.

I don't think Proline could ever come up with such a stinky, sucky compound for a tire. Imagine worse than the worst RC4WD tire compound ever made, and make it worse again, and smelly as hell.
