Default Could someone explain over/underdrive?

As it states. For my build I will be putting AR60's on my Fastback II chassis and I keep seeing people talk about over/underdrive. The rear axle is geared higher and the front lower?? Whats the advantage of this. Before I get too deep into a build I want to make sure I have axles I will be happy with. Thanx for any help!!
