Default Comp Sporty Build

so my ridge crest took a back seat. I am starting on a new sporty comp build. I got ax10 axils and sling shot chassis. Although this truck is a bit of a mutt i figured it would be best put in this thread.

I still need a transmission, but is well on it way. If anyone has any advice or tips please let me know. i happy to get info on this chassis.

Ive always liked the slingshot chassis, and youre going to want either wheel wideners or different wheels those wraith wheels are a narrower offset.

i would say a stock axial ax10 tranny... and if you have some dough, buy the heavy duty outputs... if I was you, I would take the side posts of for the body and buy something ike gunnar body mounts... or make ur own vertical body mounts... I made some using 1/2 long bolts, and 1/4 cutting board... made the cross braces out of the cutting board, and drilled 2 holes in the cutting board for the bolts to go thru next to eachother... I only did it at the front so the rear of the body raises when I scrape over rocks so I don't get hung up on the body.... just my 2 cents

The stock XR10 beadlocks are a wider offset than those Wraith wheels.
They add about 1/2" width per wheel.
I don't know the vendor but here is a pic & a cheap price.
Axial 2.2 Rocksters Beadlock Black Chrome AXI8095 [e7yexhBZ] - $6.64 : Site title

Also looking at these:

They can use VP SLW hubs so you can choose the offset you want.
