| J.F.D.'s Sporty "Slugg Bug"
Well this will pretty much be a "built thread'' since I never did a proper build thread months ago when I first built it.The rigs been treating me well this season, but I knew it needed some changes to be a better performer.Heres a few pics of it currently.Just ordered up some 3/16'' Ti VP links for the front to match the rears. Specs: J.F.D prototype 1/16'' cf sporty chassis 7950 Hitec Micro sidewinder castle bec Brood 30t Conflux 4pl over/under gearing Chris's Premium delrin beef tubes(front)xr shafts,knuckles,C's,J.F.D. 8mm hexes,Junfac widners on rear Trans built with RR gears throughout MIP's Big Bores with silver Mini T's 30w up front and 45 out back Red dot Boss Claws glued on MR V's wheels Blue Monkey Knuckle weights This took me a good day to get my steering worked out the way i wanted,But it was well worth it.My cg is much lower then before with this setup and the servo is dang near flush with the front axle. I'm almost one of the cool guysI have the 30t Conflux but I'm still running the 2008 slipper clutch Extra long homemade 0 ack arms |

Thanks guys, I got the idea from some other builds on here and elaborated on that.I think this has been the most beneficial mod I've done to the truck. |

Great job on the steering!! Ive been tinkering with the same idea but didnt think a single slightly bent over the top link would work but you made it look and work great for ya. that gives me a couple ideas to try. The electronics on the axle shielded by lexan is perfect for fitting the battery in the upper link mounts on my rig!! Thanks for posting your thread!!
