Default Panthers AX-10 Warthog

Got most of my parts here today to start building my AX-10. I started mocking it up and found out the lower links that came with it won't work because they hit the chassis like crazy.
So the parts list is:
HBZ Warthog Chassis
Vanquish Transmission Case
STRC Knuckles
STRC Lock-out Kit
STRC Hub Carriers
Venom 55t motor
Venom VSC 240 ESC
Weighted XR10 Wheels
HobbyKing HK15298B Servo

That's enough for the list. Here are some pictures from today. I sand blasted the chassis and primed it, I will paint it tomorrow.

looks pretty cool but kinda looks like it is going to have a high CG sitting on top of the CF plates. Isnt that chassi designed to have all the componets bolted directly to it? Dont mind me if it dumb questions.

Thank's slim_chance. I'm not sure how the COG is going to turn out, But for the price I got on everything I couldn't resist trying it out. And all the stock part's are supposed to bolt on to it. Hopefully the COG won't be too bad once I move the battery to the front axle.

I finished painting the chassis Metallic Orange today. Hopefully it goes well with all the orange anodized links and beadlock rings.

Well, I ordered a bunch of parts for the truck hoping I could start putting it together and found out I can't use the bent links I ordered so I went ahead and ordered a set of straight links for it. And when I went to put the 3-link together I found only 2 of the 3 holes were drilled, Has anyone had this issue? There is a pic below showing it.

And here is the non-drilled hole in the 3-link part.

I drilled out the holes in the 3-link mounts and got the STRC bent links set-up to where I think they are going to work but I won't know for sure until I get my tires.

First I want to give a shout out to Underground Crawlers, I ordered the last Fastback II chassis they had on their website on the 27th and it got here today on the 29th. Hopefully I will be switching from the Warthog chassis soon and start running their chassis. I've had the truck done with the warthog chassis for awhile now and haven't really driven it much, but the few times I have driven it I enjoyed it.

Here are a few pics of the chassis when it arrived today and pics of the completed truck.

What could this be? Lets open it up and find out.

Such a tease.

So what was in that green foam? This

Important seal on the bag.

Starting to look better, Now lets open that stuff.

Now lets find out what was in that paper. Oooohhhhhh

Hardware and braces.

UGC!!!

Now here are some pictures of the truck as it sits.

RX and Low Voltage alarm.

Front shot.

Flexing on the kitchen table.
