Default Del Monte's Creationfab sporty

With all the cool builds going on, I couldn't stay away from the S-Class forever

I started this build last week with hopes of being able to run 2.2s at the West Coast Shootout, but my job had other plans. Mark Reel took the controls on Friday but unfortunately had some break-in problems that are to be expected on a first run.

Specs:
AX axles with Creationfab wide tubes
OD/UD gearing
13t Holmes Hobbies Crawlmaster w/Redbeard armature
Sidewinder Micro
Futaba BLS157HV servo
RCP Crawlers lockers

I can't wait to get out to the rocks and see what this truck can do with some setup work. The plan is for this truck to be good enough to run in 2.2p locally, so I've got a lot of testing and tuning ahead of me

I have been waiting for you to build a 2.2s, you should run this in 2.2p at national comps too, you would probably still kick everyone's ass.

Looks good so far. The battery mounted in the back looks interesting as well.

Very Tidy, I am starting my Kush build next week, with a similar shopping list.

Do you mind if I ask what link lengths you used?

Yeah...while Mark was running his course, Jeremy T. said "Hey Mark...Jake just called & said if you break his rig...its all good." Right then...the lovely sound of gears grinding. OK...It MIGHTA been ME that said that but Im stickin with the 1st story.

Besides the initial little probs...the rig looked pretty dialed. As far as comping it against our pro rigs locally...I say BRING IT!!! And if you beat our pro rigs...I'll say TAKE IT....HOME!!

I really like the profile stance on this chassis. I'd like to see a video of it if you've got one. That steering is amazing! How about that Sidewinder Micro? Do you have an external BEC or is the micro enough by itself?
