Got a few things to show... Got the gear lightened by Calvin thanks man awesome work! Got the motor mounted up on the transmission just need to get a pinion for it... I'm thinking I'll start off with a 16t pinion and go from there Working on getting the steering figured out... With the DLux knuckles the servo won't fit underneath the servo plate... So I have it sitting on top facing towards the back.. It should be good like this Also got some of these cool servo mount tabs from Calvin (CW Crawlers) They are nice and small and work really well Last edited by EverettY; 05-15-2014 at 03:05 PM.

I thought the pics erik added show how they go together quite well. Got those servo bushings too. Perfect fit |

Thanks guys. I think you got the sloppy mill batch of bushings but as long as they fit . Glad to see they fit more than just the servos I had to check on Those gears were beyond easy to drill honestly... which was nice for me since I was worried I would be eating drills left and right Minor comment... any way to make a mounting plate where the servo is elevated... or to much work. I can do a drawing later if your interested. |

Got some sweet Shift hubs from BC-Brian. I'm running slims in the rear with the wheels flipped and the front I'm running the regular with a few spacers. They were really easy to tap and are a perfect fit Been working on the wheels and tires for the truck too. Been working on narrowed and reduced Gold VooDoo's for it. The front tires are done and mounted on the wheels with CI 5.5" CC foams with Soft outers.

Got the DLux Loaded Dice Knuckle weights a while back but they didn't work with the 8* CHubs so I sent the knuckles and holders to Erik and he fitted them up for me... I still gotta take a dremel to the inside of the weight holders to fit the shift hubs... It'll be pretty heavy but should stay really planted on the ground Also got the Magic Wands installed and man they look amazing! I threw some shocks and upper links on it for now to get the stance how I want it... It looks really good right now Just need the actual upper links which will be here later this week and than gonna have to build some shocks and get a draglink for it... Than just some soldering and a body for it and it'll be about done |

It's getting a lot closer Got the sway bars all mounted up and got it all nice and smooth... They are really nice and I'm looking forward to seeing how they perform on this truck Got all of the wheels and tires finished up now too... Running the wheels in the rear flipped so I had Erik make these white Rings for the wheels so it all works better Cut the star pattern pin cut in the front and the rear will stay uncut for now... Got a few poser pics of how it's sitting right now Last edited by EverettY; 07-20-2014 at 07:04 PM. |
