Programming a DX4C for 4ws for my AX10

Hey guys, I am usually on the wraith section but I got two ax10s in a trade and took one apart and the other I made it 4ws. I just bought a Spektrum DX4C and I can get it to either do traditional 4ws or crabwalking, I can not get it to lock the rear and keep the front steering. Any idea? Thanks

go to the reverse menu and reverse the aux channel? assuming your mix is throttle and aux channel.

set the MIX on the rear servo cannel :

0% - 0% (top mix)
100% - 100% (bottom mix) (may have to swap them)

in the one position it will 4WS and in other it will center

am still trying to figure out how to get all 4WS/Crab/Center to work

Is it different than the 4s? It looks pretty clear cut on the menu but I havent tried it.

Yes this radio is different then the 4s or 4r the 4c will not 4ws crab and straight on the rear axle. I just bought a 4c and called horizon and asked and he said I would need the 4s or 4r if I wanted to be able to switch between more then two types of steering

you can set rear servo as 3 position, and have non-liniar crab/4ws/strait

The DX4S has special program that has 4WS option all set up - ???? don't know why it isn't included in the DX4C other than $$$

Yeah the 4s is straight from the get go.

have done these seperate setups:

3 position winch (Heyok 3pos controler) , and 3 position rear stear full 4WS/nutral/full Crab

3 position winch (Heyok 3pos controler) , and linier 4WS with nutral

3 position winch (Heyok 3pos controler) , and linier Crab with nutral

3 position winch (Heyok 3pos controler) , linier 4WS/NO nutral/ linier Crab

X2 3 position winches using x2 Heyok 3pos controlers
