Thinking of scrapping my scx for a ax10

Ok, my first crawler was a ax10 and I dearly loved it. I had it drives out with all aluminum goodies and a black widow chassis. Little thing was bad ass. 6 years after selling it I have picked up a scx10. I haven't gotten to really take it out on a trail yet, but what little I have got to mess with it, I'm really disappointed that it won't do what the ax10 would do without missing a beat. I have another black widow chassis, and I'm seriously considering tearing the scx down and building up a copy of my old ax10. My main aggregation is I can't find a proline helios body anywhere.

Anyone else done this with their scx? I'm also considering see if anyone would trade even up for a losi comp crawler. Had one of those too and loved it.

How or did you go along with this build? I am currently doing the same conversion using a RC Solutions Sting chassis.

It takes some work on doing it, but it is doable
