Here's some pics of first day out. stock tires w/ 6 1/2 oz in ea. tire front. rear 3 1/2 oz. On slick rocks stock tires did not want to grab. On the rock in these pics. stock tires grab very good. I did cut a nocth in the corner of ea. nub ( to make them flex more???). pics. where taken at Mormon Rock in S.CAL near HWY. 138. The rock is kinda sandy-grity but hard rock.
hope you guys injoy.

Read, people, read!!!

Your second trim job definitely looks better, TO. You NEED to put the gun rack sticker in the back window!! One of the coolest body stickers ever...

Hey guy was out in my rock pile running line w/ bmv knock off. (the yellow rig in avatar.)ESC Novak XRS,tires Moabs. W/stock tires on AX10, ESC Moped. Both battery are the same 1100 6cell 2/3a.
Anyways my bmv yellow rig would go up lines no problem. AX10 could make it but would have to work the sh-- out it. Seem like the moped is under powered. Or could it be stock gearing?? any one else running moped esc? AX10 TIRES weight 6 1/2 oz in Front 3 1/2 in rear. On high tracktion rocks like in pic work great. On smooth rock not so good. I know LOSI ROCK CLAWS as soon as RCP gets them so will I just want to make stock tires better.

tires seem to like this type of rock above

tire dont do so good on this type of rock IMO

Next time you go out there try the moabs on the ax10 and see if it performs better for you. I would be curious to see the difference.

I've got a tekin rebel in mine w/ a 55 turn lathe and I haven't noticed any power problems, but I have noticed what your saying about the tires, cant wait to change them to rock claws and see the difference.

Thumbs up

Did you ever think to turn your shocks the other way? Posibly lowering you cog even more.

Or did you and found it to be more of a hinderence then a advantage?

Also any noticable gain in traction with the claws flipped the oppisite way?

Very informative build I like this thread!

RCP rear lock out and RCP front C's and knuckles shimmed stub axles.articulation about 6 in. or so. Belly clearance 2 3/4 in. rock claws w/new cut foam (center star cut) . ESC rooster crawler, Bent rear links. new dig set up first on was'nt durable enough. to answer ? Rock claws fliped bacwards did not know they where. I saw alot of the on that way.

In the second photo down showing the RCP Straight Axle Conversion, did you have any axle *slop* with running a single bearing?....or is your AX10's rear axle solid now?
