It actuly seems to work realy well doesn't seem to bind. I actuly have limited the travel of the rear shocks to keep the articulation reasonable. The rig over all is very stable and seem to work very well. I will be doing more testing in the days to come and will post some more pics as I go.

My guess is it will be about the same weight or lighter than a tube chassis would. The rod used is a much smaller diameter than a tube strong enough for that chassis.

Bastard, is the chassis designed exclusively for the AX-10 transmission?

It's pretty much designed to use all of the stock AX-10 parts. The stock AX-10 skidplate bolts directly into the chassis.

You are right it is lighter than the chassis built using 3/16 tubing.

And yes the chassis is designed exclusivly for the ax-10. The only parts beside the ax-10 kit the rear panard bar and the rear brace. Witch will come with the chassis once it is finished.

They were taken by one of the guys at the shop before they left for Huston.

I got a chance to hang out at The Carnage shop yesterday and see this thing in person and all I can say is AWESOME! It looks like a "honey I shrank the crawler" version of the big Lil Bastard! I am gonna need one of these.... Oh and wait till you guys see the custom goodies Bastard created for me on Mastercam.

To bad he had already broke the output shaft on the AX trans, I wanted to drive it!:-(

Default whoa

I hope the no drive thing applies to me at my first comp too for a third place.

Good to hear its workin out, I got my eyes set on hopefully making at least one more ax-10 and this thing looks cool along with some other setups.
